Cortron pointing devices are designed to be responsive and user friendly, yet be extremely rugged.
Cortron pointing devices are available to meet a variety of rugged applications. The highly ergonomic designs of the pointing devices and integrated button actuators promotes maximum operator efficiency by significantly reducing the keystroking movements and accompanying stress typically associated with intensive human machine interfaces.
Cortron pointing devices can be configured to be part of an installation with a keyboard or stand-alone. We have designed our products to be rugged and modular in nature – pick a pointing device (model), then select your options such as mounting style and backlighting.
All pointing devices are available in a variety of configurations including:
- Standard and custom enclosures, cables and connectors
- USB and PS2 interfaces (PS2 or other interfaces require a separate keyboard)
- Stand-alone or integrated with keyboards or keypads
- Internal USB hubs
- Custom legends and backlighting
All Cortron rugged grade pointing devices are designed to meet rugged MIL-STD-810 Environmental, UL & CE standards, and can be configured for MIL-STD-901D Shock and MIL-HDBK– as well as other industry standards.
