Job Summary: 

To perform system and sub-system testing, troubleshooting of components, utilizing functional diagnostics tools. Test and repair customer returns, and support the rework needs of manufacturing.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Test all company products using provided test procedures and software.  Testing is performed on PC boards and final product assemblies.
  • Reads and analyzes schematic diagrams circuit descriptions and similar technical information.
  • Assists in the design and debugging of test fixtures, test cables and other test equipment.
  • Provide feedback to manufacturing assembly departments and engineering with information on failures found in the testing of products to improve manufacturing processes, DFM, and quality of products.
  • Read and follow mechanical and electrical assembly and test procedures.
  • Provide support to design engineering.
  • Build strong internal and external relationships that require exchanging information and providing explanations in a problem-solving capacity. Entering specifics in data bases and reports.
  • Knowledge or certification in J-Std-001, IPC-610 and IPC-7711/7721


  • Associates Degree or equivalent
  • Three – five years’ experience
  • Ability to analyze equipment, troubleshoot problems and make appropriate repairs.
  • Experience diagnosing electrical failures to the component level on PC board assemblies.
  • Knowledge or certification in J-Std-001, IPC-610 and IPC-7711/7721
  • Experience with test equipment such as oscilloscopes, analyzers and multimeters.
  • Experience with processor-based electronics is a plus.
  • Good verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Must have a positive, “Can Do” attitude.
  • US Citizenship Required
  • No Relocation

Computer Skills:

Knowledge of personal computers, MS Office Suite, multiple operating systems and applications.
